Very few employers can host traditional work experience.
This means…
…only 1 in 3 young people get the opportunity
… too often we go into careers shaped by our friends and families and
… it takes 5 generations to go from low to middle income in the UK.
Not Impossible has reimagined the whole process around what needs to be true for busy employers to open their doors. This includes:
- Microplacements of 1 hour to 1 day based on your availability.
- Smart matches with 16-25-year-olds from less advantaged backgrounds who share your passions and personality (and who would make great hires)
- All the logistics, including activities, sorted so you can focus on passing on your hard-earned knowledge.
Get in touch with the team at [email protected] if you’d like to try a new way of inspiring more young people to enter the creative industries.
Key People
Luke Ashman
Luke was FD at Bristol B-Corp Pukka Herbs and a former teacher. The broken work experience system is something that has bothered him since he was 15 and spent a week cleaning gum off the floor of his local leisure centre as his one experience of the workplace. Hosting work experience during his career made him realise why so few even get this sort of opportunity. It's hard to do on top of busy day jobs. Making this easier, and so creating more opportunities for young people is why he co-founded Not Impossible.
