Hello! I qualified as an animator in 2014 and so far I have worked on projects including children’s content and educational material, charity fundraising films, short films for museums, explainers and tutorials. I try to choose projects that are worthwhile – either for the community or to help educate. My work is mostly made by digital means, working predominantly in Illustrator, Photoshop and After Effects, but I enjoy mixing media and adding handmade elements where I can. I have a strong attention to detail and an eye for composition and colour.  I have a varied background of education and training, having studied biology and worked as a teacher, so have a lot of experience to draw from. I have run animation workshops with primary school children and facilitated a community mural in Lawrence Hill.
When I have free time, I enjoy exploring by bicycle, trail running, raising the world’s cutest puppy, visiting obscure museums, boot fairs, spending time on allotment waiting lists, making, growing, mending, building, being Barbara Good.
