Member Bio
As a Junior Researcher for The Watches at BBC Studios, I contribute to the production of engaging and informative wildlife and science stories for live and recorded programmes. I work with a large and fast-paced team, providing on-call support, in-depth research, and creative ideas for VTs and live items. I also leverage my own knowledge, connections, experience, and footage to enhance the stories and create my own segments for Winterwatch and Springwatch.
I am a MNHP graduate from Falmouth University and a self-proclaimed shark nerd, with a passion for creating a voice for the animals who cannot speak for themselves and showcasing the beauty and strength of our planet through creative means. I have also worked as a Dive Camera Operator, Self Shooting Director, and Photojournalist, specialising in underwater imagery, film production, and communicating conservation issues. I have multiple certifications, skills, and licenses in camera, sound, video, and digital software, as well as powerboats and as a marine mammal medic. I have filmed in various locations and environments, working alongside charities and experts, and obtaining permits and documents. I am always keen for more challenges and opportunities to learn and grow as a filmmaker and a researcher.
