In this webinar, PR expert Bridie Hinson will share an introduction to PR for small businesses and self-employed people who want to get in front of more people with what they do.
PR does not mean writing a press release or getting in the newspaper. It’s an approach to promoting products, people and organisations, just like marketing is. And just like marketing isn’t just for big brands, PR isn’t either.
Bridie will cover how PR will help you grow, promote and sustain your small business and walk you through a wider world of opportunities – press, podcasts, speaking, articles, collaborations, and partnerships.
If you want to learn new tools for visibility, promotion and improving the long term reputation of your business – beyond content creation – join this training.

People who own a small business – whether you’re an artist, maker, consultant, educator, coach, or service provider – and you’d sell more if you could get in front of more people.
Bridie Hinson is a PR mentor for small business owners. Bridie helps founders to proactively build their reputation and reach through opportunities such as podcast appearances, press features, speaking engagements, and collaborations.
With a deep understanding of expert positioning and trust building, and recognising that PR is often a missed opportunity for small businesses, Bridie’s mission is to help small business owners feel confident promoting themselves in a way that feels natural and authentic.
Drawing from three years in mentoring and her previous 10-year career in PR, Bridie regularly shares her expertise through public speaking (Eleanor Mollie’s The Brand Blitz); guest trainings (Joy of Indie Club and Good Business); press features (Estila magazine); and interviews (Joy of Indie podcast and Sophie Carefull’s YouTube channel).
