Whilst tech is at the forefront of innovation, it falls short when it comes to Diversity and Inclusion.

So let’s look at the numbers…

  • 25% of Tech Employees are Ethnic Minorites, with 5% being Black.
  • As for gender minorities, 29% of tech employees are Women or Non-Binary, with this number shrinking exponentially with Black Women making up 0.7% of the IT workforce.
  • 6% of tech employees are disabled.
  • Only 3% disclosed they are Neurodivergent whilst UK estimates for neurodivergence are 15 – 20%.

Evidently, there is a conversation to be had.
