To keep our event and networking opportunities as varied as possible, we were keen to offer our members more creative ways of networking, so we teamed up with Outside to organise these networking sessions with groups of 12 people (similar to our members’ lunches) who are keen to don their walking boots and explore the stunning countryside around Bristol and Bath. A great opportunity for members to make some new connections within the industry whilst getting some much needed fresh air!
The meeting point for our Walk & Talk will be this golf course car park in Ashton Court (BS8 3PX), ready to set off for the walk at 9.30am. We will then cross over the road and walk down into Leigh Woods, following this route.
During the walk, you’ll get to spend 10-15 minutes chatting to each of your fellow walkers. No agenda as such, just clear open space for thinking, connecting, sharing experiences about your businesses and exploring possibilities. The BCI team will be joining the group too so it’s a great chance to chat to them about getting the most out of your BCI membership.
This event is exclusively for BCI members and registration is required in advance via the button below. For those who are also members of Outside, this event is free of charge. If you’re not a member of Outside, the cost will be £10+VAT.
If you’re not yet a member of Bristol Creative Industries and would like to take advantage of this member-only event, you can sign up here. You can also read about the membership perks here.
Our members’ lunches, a long term fixture in the BCI events calendar, are still continuing as normal every month (mixture of online and in-person) throughout the year, but we want to keep offering these walking sessions too which will start from different locations around the area on a quarterly basis.

ESTRELLAS
Estrellas is an alternative rock band, with a modern take on the genre; they’re inspired by artists such as Jeff Buckley and Wolf Alice, with densely textured arrangements and lyrics shrouded in metaphor. Fronted by Charlotte McPherson’s powerful vocals, and buoyed by Jake Wild’s idiosyncratic songwriting and guitar playing style, the band is filled out by the rock-solid rhythm section of Stuart Clark and Rob Lennox, who keep the groove going with a jazzy, improvisational flair.
HANNIGAN
Hannigan is a traveling singer-songwriter. Drawing from his English and Irish heritages, he has created a sound that can only be defined as his own. Settling into an acoustic soulful folk rock genre he writes honestly, inspired by the ever changing world around him.
OUTSIDER
Outsider is a Northern Soul/Indie artist, combining the pathos of Radiohead with the heart and gritty vocal stylings of Paolo Nutini.
£4(advance)/£5, over 18s only.

This event will allow you to widen networks, make new connections, discuss common problems, and discover potential opportunities for collaboration going forward. You’ll be sure to head home with a new contact.
