Fresh from Sky Documentaries winning Best Factual channel in the Broadcast Digital Awards, join the factual team from Sky as they share their ambitions for the genre and discuss ongoing opportunities for producers.
Poppy Dixon is Director of Documentaries and Factual Commissioning and Hayley Reynolds is a Commissioning Editor, both responsible for original documentaries and factual programmes across Sky’s portfolio of services. This Q&A with Poppy and Hayley will be chaired by Wendy Darke, CEO and Founder, True to Nature.
Sky is doubling investment in original content by 2024 through Sky Studios and Poppy and Hayley will outline the challenges of developing and delivering strong, distinctive, original ideas, from feature length documentaries to series. They will also talk through how they work with indies and what they are looking to commission across Sky Documentaries, Sky Nature and Sky Crime.
