Pixel Pioneers, the affordable community conference for front-end developers and UX/UI designers with a focus on actionable takeaways, is returning to Bristol on 10 June!
The single-track event at the M Shed this time features Rachel Andrew, Léonie Watson, Gavin Strange, and five other great speakers. Topics covered include new CSS techniques, web performance, accessibility, sustainability, web typography and variable fonts, creative coding, and why you shouldn’t rely on JavaScript as much as you’re told to.
Pixel Pioneers first came to Bristol in 2017, and after a two-year COVID-enforced hiatus, this is our first time back in person at the historic harbourside. Student tickets are half-price, and if you’re a member of an underrepresented or marginalised group in tech, you can apply for a diversity scholarship to attend the conference for free: https://pixelpioneers.co/diversity-scholarships (the deadline for applications is 20 May).
