Mental health charity Many Minds seeks corporate partner from within Bristol’s creative sector

7th June 2024

Bristol mental health charity Many Minds is looking for a new corporate partner for 2024 to help raise funds, provide mentoring opportunities for users and extend the charity’s reach across the city.

Many Minds empowers individuals experiencing mental ill-health to unlock their full potential through the arts. They run weekly workshops in theatre making to devise and create high quality contemporary performance.

With 75% of people feeling unable to talk to anyone at work about their mental health, Many Minds is on a mission to break down stigma around mental ill health and create a better sense of mental wellbeing in the workplace to ensure creativity thrives.

After experiencing a 30% increase in members year-on-year since the Covid pandemic, the charity is now seeking a partner from within Bristol’s diverse creative industry to help with vital funds and resources so it can continue providing services across the city. Many Minds is also keen to find a partner who can offer mentoring opportunities for its members to guide on progressing in creative careers.

With significant experience consulting with organisations such as The Watershed and Bristol Old Vic, Many Minds is best placed to offer its corporate partners training on integrating creative wellbeing practices to improve mental health at work. A partnership would also offer the opportunity to inspire employees through volunteering at the charity’s workshops and live productions.

Olivia Ware, co-founder and Executive Director at Many Minds, said: “We are seeking a partner who can help us raise more funds and create more creative pathways for our members. We’re keen to forge a long-lasting partnership that benefits your organisation, the community and the countless individuals who rely on our services.”
