The Bottle Yard Studios is the largest film and TV studio in the West of England.
11 BAFTA albert-accredited stages are available; eight at our original site TBY1 and three at TBY2, our premium facility which opened in 2022 offering fully sound-proofed shooting space, powered by the largest community-owned rooftop solar array in the UK.
Floor areas of up to 22,000 sq ft and heights of up to 34ft provide endless opportunities for set builds.

Katherine Nash, Head of Studios
Katherine leads on all commercial aspects of the running of The Bottle Yard Studios’ two sites and 11 stages, including sales, operations, client relationships and strategic partnerships. Working closely with Bristol City Council, she plays a critical role in business planning and mapping the future strategic growth of the Studios. She has led the Studios’ Sustainability Strategy since 2020, and in her previous position as Business Operations Manager (2020-2025) played an integral role in the operational design and delivery of the Studios’ £12m expansion facility TBY2. Katherine started out in the industry more than 20 years ago working in locations for HETV drama across the South West, before moving into studio operations in 2011 as the Bottle Yard’s first Studio Coordinator. Ascending through the ranks over a decade and a half, she became Head of Studios in 2025.
