Writer–Director | DP | Film Educator & Mentor
Award-winning filmmaker and former BBC director with 50+ broadcast credits. I’ve directed over 40 short films, shot 17 as DP, and recently completed the feature thriller Gone to Ground (2024). My work has been selected for over 40 international film festivals.
Former Course Leader in Film Production at Arts University Bournemouth (Screen Academy UK), I’ve mentored hundreds of filmmakers, led national Skillset Screen Academy Summer Schools (4 years), and intensive 8-week Film Directing programmes for emerging directors (4 years). I’ve also script-edited over 200 student short films.
Selected for the EIFF Talent Lab and mentor for BFI/LSF Talent Campus. Screenwriting judge at London Screenwriters Festival and Film Expo South.
Clients include Australian Government, Specsavers, Southampton, Bournemouth and Salisbury Councils, Mayflower Theatre, and Focal Press USA. I direct both single-camera and live multi-camera productions.
Bonus trivia: I coordinated zombie extras (and played one) in 28 Days Later.
