I’m a chartered marketer and fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (FCIM). I call myself a T-shaped marketer, which means I have broad marketing experience and a specialism in the ever-changing world of social media.
I’m a LinkedIn Learning course instructor and accredited lead trainer for Meta. I have trained thousands of business professionals across the world via open social media training courses and delivered in-house training programmes for financial services, law firms, manufacturers, councils, utilities, pharma, technology companies and more. I’m also a regular guest speaker at university business schools across the UK.
Over the past 20+ years, I’ve worked in agency, client-side and consultancy roles with B2B and B2C household brands, higher education institutions, and high-growth SMEs.
My career highlights so far include working in-house for a Sunday Times Virgin Fast Track 100 business (£3 million to £60 million turnover, over 5 years); winning a National Indie Excellence Award for my book ‘Relax! It’s Only Social Media’, working with an agency to pick up two awards for a Breast Cancer Awareness social media campaign; and being recognised in the ’42 under 42′ South West business talent list.
