Member Bio
As a Film Student on track to graduating from Bournemouth University in May 2024 with a first-class qualification, I am eagerly searching for a graduate job or traineeship to begin my career in the creative industry.
During my time at university, I have been given the opportunity to work on numerous student films and graduate films. I have contributed as a Director, Production Manager, Production Designer, Camera Operator and Director of Photography. This assisted in developing my creative vision and confidence in my initiatives.
In the roles of the Director, Camera Operator and DoP I have established a strong practical knowledge base of how to set up, use and carry/move an extensive amount of kit with care and safety. Working in demanding, fast-paced settings as a Director, Production Manager, and Production Designer has helped me hone my time management abilities and become more organised and self-motivated.
My university course has a healthy balance of splitting the courses between theory and practical assignments. This practice, as well as my A Level English Language qualification, has strengthened my writing abilities. I am a confident writer and editor with a strong vocabulary, which would assist my contribution to client proposals and projects.
As well as student productions, I have worked with the British Film Institute as a camera operator and researcher for a short documentary exploring school exclusions and the consequences it has on children. During this production, I worked with new teams and guest interviewees on a day-to-day basis. This allowed me to become accustomed to on-set etiquette and have strong customer service skills with new guests daily. I have also worked as a 1st AC for local Bristol filmmakers on two music videos. I was able to work closely with Ari Amira Cameras and Prime Lenses.
