As Head of Production at BBC Earth Productions, BBC Worldwide, held responsibility for all operational, financial, talent and production management across the company’s multi-platform output. Working with international partners that included Shanghai Media Group, Mandarin Films, Google, Sega, Giant Screen Films and Oculus Rift, oversaw delivery of content for tv, feature film, giant-screen and digital platforms, as well as new and emerging technologies. Credited as Head of Production for BBC Films on the UK’s first feature film produced under the UK/China co-production treaty.

From 2020 as Head of Film at Bristol City Council, led the management and growth of The Bottle Yard Studios and Bristol Film Office. Promoted Bristol as a leading filming destination and helped increase the economic impact of film and television production in the city from £15m in 2019 to £46m by 2025.

During this tenure, The Bottle Yard Studios won the Sustainable Initiative Award at the Screen International Global Production Awards in Cannes in 2023. Bristol was subsequently awarded City of Film at the Cannes Global Production Awards in 2024, and The Bottle Yard was shortlisted for Studio of the Year at the 2025 ceremony.

Deeply committed to the continued growth of film and tv production in the West of England and to the benefits this brings to the regional economy and local crew base. Has acted in an advisory capacity to Patchway Studios, supporting the development of its national and international profile to further strengthen the region’s production offer and is now working to support local scripted writers, directors and producers, encouraging increased employment of regional crew and facilities in a region that is becoming increasingly popular as an alternative filming location to London.
