Member Bio
I am a video editor specialising in crafting compelling short documentaries and music videos for local artists and real people. My goal is to capture the authentic essence of my clients work whilst keeping my blend of visuals as slick as possible.
I have a large focus around music, with my past work including a Voxpop documentary for Freestyle Bristol about the 50th anniversary of HipHop, which you will find on my portfolio. I interned for UK beatboxer Kila Kela, working on editing freestyles and podcasts- and also throwing a graffiti maps selling event. In my home town Cambridge, I was also involved in running freestyle sessions for local artists, in which we offered free music production and a free video to accompany. I have only been video editing for 3 years on a very on and off schedule, and since moving to Bristol last year I have been looking for form new connections here and get my work out there.
I am a student of Psychology at University of Bristol aswell, something I feel has an impact on my work as a large focus in psychology for me is the effect of creativity on the human brain and the importance in freedom of speech and creativity in a society. I want to blend these different worlds so that my art goes on to affect people as much as possible.
I’m hoping to work on editing more music videos this year, but am happy to get my hands stuck into anything that comes my way!
