Member Bio
I am predicted to graduate from UWE Bristol with a First Class degree in Film Studies. I am interested in British Film and TV, such as Working Title and the former UK Film Council, stardom, queer teen cinema, and supporting women in the film industry. My Dissertation was titled ‘How did the Idea of Global Cinema Impact Transnational Post-Millennium Filmmaking?’
I am a highly skilled Customer Service Assistant with over two years experience at the Southern Cooperative. I understand the needs of customers, anticipate their questions and work exceptionally well in a team-based environment. I have passed numerous Mystery Shopper tests and remain diligent against theft.
I was the Vice President of the UWE Swift Society. I planned, organised, marketed and ensured the safety of members at over 25 events, from weekly coffee mornings to an evening Ball. I completed extensive risk assessments, room bookings and undertook both an Emergency First Aid course and an Alcohol Awareness course. I exhibited leadership, creativity and multitasking skills in this role by running the society on top of my final year of studies.
