Member Bio

I am a filmmaker and content creator from Bristol, looking for a role in marketing and public relations for live events and B2B companies.

Since 2020, I have worked as a freelance videographer and video editor for a wide range of businesses. Most of these projects were for promotional videos for their social media platforms, such as Rough Trade, Big Team, Bristol Old Vic and Rising Arts Agency. Alongside my technical skills, I have also acted as a creative director for short films and documentary series for Caring in Bristol and Bristol Museums.

Around this time, I found a passion for content creation; specifically producing long-form video essays. On my YouTube channel, I have created several analytical videos surrounding a range of different topics such as the use of music in video games, album cover art and even the history of film marketing. Most of the output in this field is a solo task, allowing myself creative freedom in all areas while also incorporating a chance to learn and develop new skills, as well as collaboration with other creators.

With a period of full-time employment at Our Media as a photographer, I gained experience in not only new pieces of hardware and software in line with a photography workflow but also in working in a professional office and studio environment. My video skills were also utilised in creating short social media posts alongside my main photography for brands such as Asda, Simply Knitting and Love Embroidery, and they were vital in the company creating a service for clients that included video work. I was also brought onto bigger, on-location productions as a camera operator and editor for brands such as 220 Triathlon, English Heritage and Gardens Illustrated.

In 2024, I started an internship with support from Bristol Creative Industries as a way to learn about marketing and PR agencies in the Bristol area – upskilling my writing skills with press releases and copywriting, and finding a way to use the video skills I have gathered over my professional career and using them in a slightly different line of employment.
