Member Bio

I write clear, engaging copy on a wide-range of subjects for diverse audiences. Equally at home writing for glossy magazines and national newspapers to editing specialist magazines for professional organisations and contributing to B2B publications.
Publications who have published my work include The Guardian, The Sunday Telegraph, The Sunday Times, The Mail on Sunday, The Independent and Glamour magazine on the topics of education, careers, women, the environment and health.
I am currently studying for a Diploma in Digital Marketing at UWE and relishing the opportunity to take a deep dive into all the latest digital marketing trends so that I am able to help clients maximise their  reach. Completion date is January 2024 hence my ‘student’ status but I am available for other freelance work in the meantime.

I have published a book, The Transatlantic Marriage Bureau (a non-fiction biography of the American heiresses of the Gilded Age) with Aurum Press, which was decried as ‘a good and gossipy historical tome’ by RED magazine, ‘wonderfully fun’ by Stlist and ‘A fascinating read’ by Town and Country. I am also an experienced ghostwriter, working on a photography book about Audrey Hepburn, where I was fortunate enough to interview legendary photographers about their iconic photo shoots with the star.

I started my career in communication roles for the British Dental Association and the Soil Association where I was responsible for editing magazines, creating marketing content, responding to media queries and developing PR campaigns.

I am an experienced writer, a thoughtful interviewer, an engaging communicator and a responsive marketer. If you would like a writer who you can trust to produce exceptional copy that ill elevate your brand, then please get in  touch.
