I work with travel and hospitality companies to share their stories with the world and write strategic content for communications, PR, sales and brand teams across the travel universe.
As digital marketing platforms mushroom, travel businesses need a constant supply of inspirational content to help their customers stay engaged. Inspiring tales about culture and nature for in-house publications and newsletters. Vivid stories about destinations that stir the soul for brand websites. Colourful profiles about individuals and entrepreneurs for magazines, LinkedIn or other social platforms.
Working alongside in-house teams, I also produce branding and marketing copy for brochures and websites, stakeholder/investor communications for internal circulation and ghost-written articles for senior executives, all crafted to drive engagement, build loyalty and increase brand recognition.
Building on a 16-year career working for glossy travel magazines and hard-hitting travel trade titles, I can also help with concept and content-planning for new publications, create editorial calendars for digital and print campaigns, and help plan, write and edit everything from coffee table books and travel guides to cookbooks and essay collections.
I’m also a freelance travel writer and Editor-at-Large of a Dubai-based luxury travel magazine called Destinations of the World News.
At the same time, I’m always on the look-out for experienced copywriters who are passionate about travel and tourism to collaborate on larger projects, as well as photographers, videographers, graphic designers and social media pros.
