Member Bio

Hampshire/Bristol based DJ and producer Jeske, formerly known as Majix, is a rising multi-genre talent whose sound moves fluidly across the deeper, more atmospheric edges of UK electronic music. Specialising in liquid, minimal, techstep and rolling drum & bass, as well as UK garage, future garage, and 140/dubstep, Jeske has built a reputation for sets that balance technical precision with immersive storytelling.

Shaped by the bass-driven culture of Bristol and the club energy of the South Coast, Jeske’s style is defined by warm, liquid melodies, stripped-back minimal grooves, gritty techstep rhythms, and the forward momentum of rolling DnB. Her versatility extends far beyond drum & bass: in the UKG and future garage space, she blends skippy percussion, soulful pads, and deep atmospheric textures; at 140, she shifts into weighty, dubby, sub-heavy territory, combining the nostalgia of classic dubstep with modern melodic sound design.

Formerly performing as Majix, she earned early recognition for her adaptability behind the decks and her ability to move effortlessly between various drum and bass sub-genres without losing the thread of a coherent, emotive journey. Rebranding as Jeske marked a turning point, ushering in a more refined sonic identity rooted in mood, texture, and depth. Her sets and compositions now glide from soulful liquid drum and bass into dark, shadowy minimal, fast and heavy percussive tech-step, deep rollers, smoky UKG grooves, and spacious, cinematic 140 landscapes, creating a unique cross-genre signature.

In the studio, Jeske focuses on atmosphere-driven production: shimmering pads, crisp percussion, deep subs, and detailed sound design that fuses influences from drum & bass and UK garage with the weight and space of dubstep. Her evolving catalogue reflects a commitment to craft and a passion for pushing the emotional potential of bass music.

With new releases, mixes, and performances building momentum across the South and South-West, Jeske is establishing herself as a versatile and forward-thinking presence in the UK bass continuum – an artist unafraid to blur lines, shift tempos, and carve out her own space across the 130-180 spectrum.
