Jemima Morgan Graduate

I’m a Graphic Designer located in and around Bristol with a keen interest in branding and identity as well as print and layout design. I studied Graphic Design at Nottingham Trent University between 2019 and 2022.

Identify something big or small that bothers you and create a piece of work around it. I created an illustrated zine that focuses of annoying things that housemates do in a way that is lighthearted and amusing.

Create an artifact that successfully communicates the subject and content of your dissertation and celebrates the essay graphically and visually. I created a book that highlighted the relationship between art and politics.

Create packaging for grapefruit peel tea. My idea was to focus on the emotions that can be elicited from the customer and how I could use grounding techniques to generate as sense of calmness.

Create a piece of communication design that captures the content of a previous explorer/expedition. These postcards chronicle Nellie Bly’s exhibition around the world in 72 days and include notes on the back that read Bly’s words.

Member Bio

I’m a Graphic Designer located in and around Bristol with a keen interest in branding and identity as well as print and layout design. I studied Graphic Design at Nottingham Trent University between 2019 and 2022. In this time, I have explored many avenues of design, choosing briefs that challenge me and then executing my ideas from initial sketches to a professional finish. I am a hardworking and imaginative individual with a passion for design. 

Throughout my work, I show an excellent understanding of my audience, and my ability to influence them is shown through my packaging work and zine work, where I’ve used colour and tone of voice to connect to a target audience and draw them in; I have an eye for detail, and at times can be a perfectionist, which helps me in this field. By using key skills, such as organisation and time management, I have successfully met all deadlines without issues, which has prepared me for work outside of University, as I have learned to prioritise my workloads, always leaving extra time in the case of unforeseen circumstances arising. I am a competent and committed employee, that works well both indepedently and in a team.
