Hi, My name is Genaro.
I am a freelance Illustrator and Designer originally from Mexico City but now I live in the UK.
My career started with a love of drawing and graphics and I pursued a career as a Tattooist in Mexico City. When I moved to the UK I discovered my love for illustration and visual communication.
Now, I have degree in Illustration at the University of West England.
I work predominantly with traditional materials such as watercolours, coloured pencils, gouache, combining the layers digitally to create a final image. I take inspiration from my surroundings and Mexican culture. I have a love for editorial illustration and I like to create distinctive and powerful images based on metaphors and full of colour.
