Gemma Carver Student

Year 2 Interior Design student studying at UWE Bristol. Specialised in craft, spatial development and 3D software rendering.

A quiet getaway one bedroom concept house and workshop designed for multidisciplinary and maker Arjun Singh Assa. The house is inspired by the meandering river Avon and is set on the cliffs of Goats Gully.

Surface design made from fibre concrete (fibre glass and rapid concrete mixture) containing hollow, organically shaped holes allowing light to pass through.

A Sanctuary space designed for maximum comfort and a chance to let nature take over and wash over you. Experience underground and overground with 2 floors accessible to everyone.

Chair installation for an Exhibition in Norwich. The pixelated design is inspired by the Bauhaus movement. It sits adjacent to a similarly designed pot.

A series of Moulded oil paintings which I later installed into a renovated, second hand doll house for an exhibition in Norwich. The aim was to enlighten those on the current cost of living crisis.

Member Bio

Hi there, my name is Gemma Carver. I specialise in multidisciplinary design and Interior design. I heavily experiment with different materials and love to personally meet clients in order to understand them on a more personal level. I’m looking for creative opportunities, specifically in stage and set design for festivals and other opportunities to express my imagination. In my free time, you can find me at music events, playing the drums and painting. I love to challenge myself and have an interest in art movements and antique furniture. Creating spaces that time warp is what I do best. I would also Love to travel for work!

I’m particularly well rehearsed in soldering, model making, and CAD.
