Member Bio
I’m a recent graduate in Mathematics with Ocean & Climate Science, with strong analytical, computational, and problem-solving skills. My degree gave me hands-on experience in data modelling and scientific computing using MATLAB, Python and R.
My academic work focused on understanding complex systems through quantitative modelling. For my dissertation, I built a full MATLAB model to analyse plankton dynamics, and I also presented technical recommendations to the National Oceanography Centre on potential improvements to their submarine systems. These experiences strengthened my ability to analyse data, break down technical concepts, and communicate findings clearly.
Outside of academics, I’ve worked in varied roles, from maintenance and catering to retail and volunteering, which taught me reliability, teamwork, and adaptability in fast-paced environments. I bring a mix of logical thinking, practical problem-solving, and strong communication skills to every role.
