I’m Edda, founder of Felisa Studio – an AI-powered platform helping DIY couples design their own wedding flowers.
Before launching my own company, I was Head of Events at Science Creates, where I ran 300+ events in a space buzzing with entrepreneurs and innovators. Being surrounded by people who just went for it left a mark on me. Truth is, I’ve always had that entrepreneurial spark — back in Mexico (proudly Mexican here 🇲🇽), I ran small businesses before moving to the UK.
Starting over in a new country wasn’t easy, but after a decade I knew it was time to build something of my own. I qualified as a florist, trained properly in school, and realised floristry had always been in my blood — my dad once worked with a legendary florist in California, and as a kid I was roped in every holiday to help (child labour, but make it floral).
That mix of events, floristry, tech, and my own DIY bride experience shaped Felisa Studio. We’re building the tool I wish I’d had for my wedding: drag-and-drop designs, exact stem counts, and step-by-step lessons — no PDFs, no spreadsheets, no endless YouTube tutorials. Just wedding flowers, made simple.
Alongside Felisa Studio, I also partner with SharedIntel AI, where we help small businesses use AI to work smarter, not harder. It’s the same mission that runs through everything I do: empowering people with tools and knowledge so they can focus on what matters.
Today, I’m building at the intersection of events, floristry, and AI. It’s messy, exciting, and 100% mine.
