Member Bio

I am an independent lettering artist and designer, originally from Yorkshire but residing in the South West for over twenty years now.

I create crafted and bespoke lettering work and logo marks for a number of clients, big and small, including Confused.com, Metropolitan Pubs, National Theatre Wales, Sheffield Hallam University, The Letting Game, Love Camden and individuals and start-ups alike.

I’ve spent a large chunk of my career working agency side as a graphic designer, so I’m able to easily slot into projects working with art directors / creative directors to conceptualise and execute typographic ideas. I work across many mediums, including brush-lettered and handwritten textural pieces, to bold, crisp vector graphics.

I also teach lettering skills to creative (and non-creative) businesses and communities up and down the country through my workshops and am now branching into type design – my first typeface is being released with F37 Foundry in July.

My obsession with anything and everything letter-based is evident in the detail and craft in my work.
