Member Bio
I am a BA (Hons) Fine Art student in my final year at Arts University Bournemouth, set to graduate with a First in this coming July (2025). My current artistic practice revolves around immersive, large-scale sculptural installations, exploring themes of personal existence that interconnect theories of psychology and ecology. The relationship between the materials and their space forms a connected self-portraiture of education and memory that interplay in the natural and human worlds.
Beyond academic studies, I am actively involved in the contemporary art scenes, curating, and taking part in a range of exhibitions, with two forthcoming ones being the Pax Residency in April 2025, where I will teach ceramics, and curating a group exhibition, Entropy, in June 2025. Notably, in 2024, I group curated and social media managed an exhibition at Bournemouth’s Natural Science Museum, further developing my skills in audience engagement and exhibition production.
My passion for art extends to frequent gallery visits, with the Venice Biennale standing out as a loved experience in 2024. In addition to these pursuits, I work part-time with special needs children, creating arts and crafts engaging with the freedom art brings and as a form of art therapy. Alongside this, I also work part-time as a waitress.
Outside of this in my spare time, I enjoy fictional reading, creative writing, and long-distance running, where I am currently training for the Bristol Half Marathon in May 2025.
