The Gentleman Octopus is a creative technology and immersive experience design company. We apply robotic technology and engineering approaches, alongside software development and XR technologies to provide both design services and bespoke installations, builds and visualisations for events, festivals, theatre, marketing and event management companies.
What makes us unique is that we sit firmly between both the technical and creative fields so we can support the full cycle of the design, build and implementation, in order to support your immersive needs. With a background in both academic research in STEM areas, and hands on experience designing and building creative and interactive technologies for events, we thrive on finding creative solutions to difficult problems.
We have produced a number of works both creative and more technical, demonstrating proficiency in mechanical, electrical, software engineering and mixed reality. From small desktop builds to large scale sculptures and industrial robot applications.
