I’m a content creator and storyteller, passionate about crafting engaging, audience-first content that inspires, informs, and connects. As a writer, speaker, and endurance athlete, I bring energy, authenticity, and a unique perspective to every project.
I’m new to freelancing and excited to collaborate with creative teams, brands, and projects that value bold storytelling and genuine connection. I’ve already worked on content for Catch: the digital swim coach app, TriHard, and the Women’s Sports Store, as well as creating UGC for Red Equipment, helping bring products and campaigns to life in ways that resonate with audiences.
Previously, I worked as a Student Focus Coordinator at the University of Portsmouth Students’ Union, where I developed the democratic, representative, and governance structures of the union. I successfully managed major agile projects, including a key representation structure overseeing 1,000 student volunteers, and quadrupled submissions for a student outreach programme, breaking previous engagement records.
I also worked as a Campaigns Manager for Mobilisation at the Woodland Trust, specialising in advocacy and leading the mobilisation unit responsible for campaigns that drive positive change in public policy for woods and trees. I built a mass movement of people who love and take action for nature, honing my skills in audience engagement, strategic content creation, and campaign storytelling. I particularly enjoyed leading creative mobilisations, including a ‘walking wood’ concept that we took to the Restore Nature Now march in 2024, where volunteers converted umbrellas into trees (using scrap materials).
I’m particularly interested in projects within swimming and active lifestyles, but I welcome opportunities that challenge me to think creatively, tell compelling stories, and help audiences connect with brands and ideas in meaningful ways.
In my spare time I co-host and edit the Don’t Forget Your Pants podcast, an open-water swimming podcast focusing on the joys, challenges, and humour of outdoor and winter swimming.
