Job Description
About The Content Emporium
At The Content Emporium we offer a high level plug-in content marketing support to comprehensively fill the gaps in the skills and resources that large brands have in-house. With a team of 46 strategic, creative experts, we offer a vast suite of services, including strategy, design, copywriting, social content creation, photography, community management, motion graphics and much more. From Instagram reels and TikTok management to email marketing and print magazines, we deliver a wide range of engaging content services. Unlike some larger agencies we fully integrate with our clients’ marketing departments to add real value every day.
Why we are hiring
We currently serve a diverse client base, from FTSE 100 property giant Landsec to ambitious smaller businesses like The British Blanket Company and national food service group Caterfood. We’ve retained our largest client, Landsec, for 15 years and we now run the digital marketing for 17 of their shopping centres including Bluewater and Gunwharf Quays. We have ambitious plans for 2025 and we need a CRM executive to ensure we are providing exceptional CRM delivery for our clients. It’s an exciting time to come aboard!
The role
We’re seeking a CRM Executive to enhance our work on email marketing. You will report to the CRM Director and work across our client portfolio, liaising closely with our editorial and design teams as well as directly with clients at times. You will be comfortable with using email marketing platforms to build campaigns, planning email ‘journeys’ and working with data to drive commercial results. Copywriting and design will be done by other team members, and as such you will need to collaborate with them to deliver work. This is a role that demands a high level of organisation, ability to accurately build email campaigns (training will be given) and a ‘can do’ attitude.
Responsibilities to include (but not limited to):
- Work closely with the wider team at The Content Emporium (editorial and design) and the CRM Director to create best-in-class customer interactions via email marketing and captive portals
- Work to our systems and processes to ensure content delivered is accurate and meets standards, and assist with the measurement of CRM KPIs as requested
- Help deliver clever automation and personalisation in email comms
- Monitor and report on email deliverability and investigate any deliverability issues if they arise.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest CRM trends, technologies and best practice – push us to be the best we can
- Report back on the results of our client campaigns with actionable insights
Required skills
The ideal candidate will have:
- A good understanding of the potential of CRM and how to use this for driving client objectives
- Strong organisational skills – a large part of this work will be planning and management of projects, so you need to be strong in this area with the ability to prioritise and work on multiple projects at the same time
- A self-starting attitude – you won’t need too much direction to know what needs to be done.
- An analytical approach that focuses on understanding customer behaviour and planning around data-driven insights
- Experience of working with metrics and the ability to hold their own in conversations about data
- The ability to work across cross-functional teams
- A willingness to learn about personalisation, segmentation and dynamic targeting
- Passion about the work you do, with drive to deliver work to a high standard
Benefits
This is a permanent full time role with a salary of £24,000 per annum. It’s a role with great potential for progression within our growing CRM function. Hours are 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday as standard.
All full time employees get 25 days paid holiday per year in addition to all bank holidays. Employees are auto-enrolled into our pension scheme. This is a hybrid role with an expectation of a minimum of a day a week in the office (located next to Bristol Temple Meads train station) and other days remote.
