Sunshine Hospitality is an independent collection of distinctive venues across Bristol and Gloucester: Harbour House, Coal Kitchen, The Granary Bristol, The Granary Club, Dareshack, The Gaffe and Bristol Pastry Kitchen. We are looking for an experienced, commercially minded and hands-on Group Marketing Manager to shape strategy and lead delivery across the business. Working closely with the Co-Founders, you will have autonomy to manage your time, set priorities and direct a supported, lean marketing function.
What you will lead
- Group and venue-level marketing plans aligned to bookings, footfall, private hire, events, retention and revenue.
- CRM, email and loyalty through Leat, including segmentation, triggered journeys and database growth.
- Organic social strategy, content direction, tone of voice, copywriting and TikTok development where relevant.
- Paid social strategy and Meta campaign planning, targeting, testing, optimisation and reporting.
- Website accuracy and development across WordPress and Webflow, including agency management and rollout of new sites.
- SEO, local search, Google Business Profiles, listings, ticketing platforms and search-led content.
- Partnerships, influencers, launches, activations and in-venue marketing.
- B2B marketing for Bristol Pastry Kitchen; strategic guidance for The Gaffe, which manages its own day-to-day marketing.
- Performance reporting across commercial results, GA4, paid and organic social, CRM, loyalty and customer reviews.

- Line management of a Sales, Events and Marketing Executive.
- Established freelance photographers, content creators and graphic designers.
- Specialist website, SEO, data and other agency partners.
- Freedom to decide what to deliver personally, delegate internally or outsource
Required skills
What you will bring
- Five or more years’ experience in hospitality, food and drink, leisure, retail or another multi-site consumer business.
- Commercial judgement and the ability to connect marketing activity to measurable business outcomes.
- Experience managing an employee, freelancers, agencies and creative suppliers.
- Strong delegation, briefing, prioritisation and project-management skills.
- Hands-on experience across copywriting, organic and paid social, Meta Ads Manager, email, CRM and loyalty.
- Confidence with WordPress, SEO, local search, GA4 and performance reporting.
- Working design capability using Canva or Adobe Creative Suite for simple menus, posters, signage and POS.
- A proactive, calm and resourceful approach, with the confidence to manage competing requests across several venues.
