Noble Performance seeks a Technical SEO & Performance Analyst who thrives in a collaborative environment where technical problem-solving and data-driven insights drive real impact.
With a strong technical SEO focus, you will work across tracking, analytics, and performance tools to ensure data accuracy, compliance, and actionable insights. You will work closely with our Performance Marketing and Web Development / Services teams to deliver, optimise, and monitor high-performing digital properties & experiences. Noble fosters a culture of innovation, collaboration, and shared expertise.
As a Technical SEO & Performance Analyst, you will:
- Set up, manage, and audit tracking systems using tools like Google Tag Manager (GTM) to ensure data accuracy.
- Configure and optimise Google Analytics (GA4), including DataStreams, events, and admin configurations.
- Build, automate, and maintain Looker Studio dashboards for streamlined performance reporting.
- Monitor and debug web and app performance issues, ensuring high-performing digital experiences.
- Conduct regular website audits to identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with Performance Marketing and Web Development teams to align tracking and analytics with campaign objectives.
- Implement CMP tools and Consent Mode to ensure compliance with GDPR/CCPA and other data privacy regulations.
- Have the opportunity to stay up to date with emerging SEO trends, including Generative AI Search (GEO), Google SGE, and AI-powered search ranking factors.

Required skills
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Strong proficiency in Google Tag Manager (GTM), including custom tag setups and debugging.
- Experience with Google Analytics (GA4), including events, DataStreams, and administrative configurations.
- Hands-on experience with performance monitoring tools and troubleshooting.
- Basic coding knowledge in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for tracking and tag creation.
- Familiarity with privacy compliance tools such as CMPs (e.g., CookieYes) and Consent Mode.
- Experience with Google Looker Studio, including building and automating dashboards.
- Strong ability to troubleshoot and resolve data tracking discrepancies.
- Ability to work from our Southwest (Bristol) location twice weekly.
- Curiosity about AI technologies and their evolving role in SEO, search ranking, and digital marketing.
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Experience with CRO tools (e.g., Optimizely, VWO) for conversion optimisation.
- Knowledge of alternative analytics platforms such as Matomo, Fathom, or Pars.ly.
- Familiarity with behaviour-tracking tools (e.g., HotJar, MS Clarity, SuperMetrics).
- Advanced skills in data visualisation tools (e.g., Looker Studio, Tableau, Power BI).
- Experience with e-commerce tracking and enhanced conversion tracking for Google Ads.
- Strong track record in scoping technical tasks and implementation efforts.
