Terrain Artist

Lo-Fi Games

Job Description

Lo-Fi Games is an internationally renowned, fully independent games studio with roots and headquarters aptly set in the unconventional city of Bristol, UK.

We’re known for Kenshi, the hit Sandbox RPG on Steam, and we’re now deep into the long-cycle development of its sequel in Unreal Engine 5.

We are seeking a mid to senior-level terrain artist to help us create the diverse world of Kenshi, where each biome has its own unique look and purpose, contributing to both storytelling and game design. The world is alien, yet realistic and believable, with each area presenting different outcomes and challenges for players.

We’re a small studio, but our team is spread all around the world. We’re open to applications from anywhere, and this role can be based in person, hybrid or fully remote, depending on what works best for you.

Responsibilities

Lo-Fi Games is proud to be an equal opportunities employer. We encourage a full range of diversity in our team and strongly encourage all people to apply, especially those from under-represented groups. We can also discuss anything you may need to achieve your full potential at any stage of the process. We assess your application solely on your demonstrated suitability for the job. Nothing else.

We are members of the Good Employment Charter and Safe In Our World.

To apply please send your Portfolio, CV and a covering statement detailing why you would like to work for us at Lo-Fi Games to [email protected].

Closing date of application is Sunday 4th October at 11.59pm. We reserve the right to close this vacancy early if we receive a high volume of suitable applications. If you are interested, we’d encourage you to submit your application as early as possible.

Application processing time is dependent on the volume received, though we do endeavour to respond to every applicant regardless of the outcome. Please bear in mind that we are a small team and tend to receive large amounts of applications, so it can take us a little time to get through them.
