Job Description
The role involves supporting the Content & Strategy team in providing strategic marketing through content creation, idea generation, and project planning. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to work on a mix of projects, including live client work, pitches and new business development, as well as marketing activities for Harleys.
The internship will run for a three-month period starting in March 2025 with potential to extend, depending on project work at the time. Applications close by February 28th.
Required skills
The work may involve the following:
Research
Conducting research, competitor benchmarking, and trend analysis.
Creative strategy
Participating in creative briefings, meetings, and group discussions. Joining brainstorming workshops, mapping out customer journeys and experiences, and scoping the best formats and channels to meet the client’s objectives.
Content development
Writing, editing and proofreading content. Maintaining attention to detail of written work, helping to ensure jobs are efficiently and methodically proofed and edited.
Film production planning
Working with the production team to support with the planning of film projects, such as location, prop, and wardrobe sourcing, as well as organising the items for use on the shoot.
Project management
Supporting project leads with the running of projects to ensure that the milestones are reached at each stage. Collaborating with other team members to help deliver high-quality creative output within the time schedule.
Agency initiatives
Working on Harleys’ own marketing, sales, and internal initiatives to build on our brand reputation and support a positive company culture. This could include social media content, new business research, award applications, and internal communication activities.
Other responsibilities
The intern may be expected to undertake other responsibilities and tasks as reasonably requested by their line manager, depending on the projects and activities happening at the time. This could include attending client meetings and administrative tasks.

Harleys is a creative agency based in Clevedon, just outside of Bristol. We offer a comprehensive range of award-winning services, including product launch materials, impactful marketing campaigns, end-to-end film production, and event materials. The agency was founded over 40 years ago and today, we have 35 team members specialising in content, strategy, design, illustration, film, animation, digital and immersive experiences.

Benefits
Working hours
The working hours are 9am-5:30pm from Monday to Friday. The agency works in a hybrid way, with all team members based in the office Monday to Wednesday, and then working from home on Thursday and Friday. Therefore, if the candidate is based locally, they can work from the office and join the team physically during the in-office days.
Salary
£120 a day
