Job Description
We’re looking for an ambitious Data Analyst to join our team and play a key role in supporting the Head of Commercial to deliver business objectives. From owning and maintaining our Master Publishing Plan to ensuring data is accurate, cleansed, and consistent, you’ll be at the heart of how we turn insight into action. You’ll also support the wider Commercial team with performance reporting and ad‑hoc administrative requests, making this an ideal role for someone who enjoys variety, responsibility, and visibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with new product set up on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central system
- Assisting with adding and updating product specifications on the Item Cards held on Dynamics, including the creation and up-keep of Assembly BOM’s
- Assisting with issuing new Bookoli ISBNs and uploading all ISBN meta-data to Nielsen Title Editor by the agreed date on the Critical Date Path
- Data validation on systems and reports to check for any inconsistencies
- Collect, clean, and analyse large datasets from various sources.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI and Excel.
Required skills
- Excel – including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs and intermediate formulas.
- Attention to detail – ensuring accuracy in data and reporting and handling multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Problem-solving – identifying issues and proposing data-driven solutions.
- Curiosity and initiative – proactively seeking insights and improvements.
- ERP systems – familiarity with platforms like Business Central an advantage but not essential
- Data visualization and report building tools – Power BI, Power Queries and Power Automate an advantage but not essential
