Chuff Reacts YouTube – Pre Production Assistant
We’re a fast-growing YouTube channel delivering hilarious reactions, viral moments, and high-energy entertainment. Love spotting trends and want to learn how YouTube videos are shaped before they go live?
Chuff Reacts is looking for a Pre-Production Assistant to support our wider team in preparing and organising content. You’ll help with things like sourcing and curating clips, basic editing, and making sure everything is ready for our creators to record with. You may also be asked to support our IRL shoots from sourcing props to assisting on the day.
This is a fantastic entry level role for someone who loves YouTube, is organised, and wants to build skills in digital content production.

40 hrs per week | Remote | Independent Contractor
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Channel Manager with day-to-day pre-production tasks.
- Source, review, and curate clips that fit video titles, themes, and brand guidelines.
- Perform basic editing (trimming, cutting, formatting) to get clips ready for use.
- Put together clip compilations with context screens.
- Check that clips are safe, high-quality, and relevant before they’re sent for review
- Keep clips, files, and folders organised so everything is easy to find.
- Provide admin and coordination support
- Support IRL shoots with prop sourcing and preparation.
- Opportunity to assist the team on shoot days – which normally take place in the Bristol / North Somerset area.
- Assist on our other YouTube channels as needed.

Required skills
- Strong interest in YouTube, social content, and trending online culture.
- Some experience with video editing or content creation (school, uni, personal projects, or professional).
- Access to and working knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro (essential).
- Organised, detail-focused, and able to manage multiple small tasks.
- Keen to learn more about YouTube pre-production and content workflows.
- Positive, proactive attitude and good communication skills.
- 18+ years old only.
