We are currently looking for a skilled, motivated, organised person with experience of managing multiple projects to join us in our Bristol workshop.
With a recent move to bigger premise and a continuing increase in workload we are on the lookout for an experienced project manager who will be able to deliver projects to high standard.
Principal Duties include:
Delivering projects from the quoting stage right through to completion. This could be anything from a small tabletop display for retail, right through to an exhibition centrepiece or complex lighting installation – the stranger the better!
The ideal candidate will be able to:
- Liaise with our client facing team and update the client during the course of the projects.
- Confidently communicate and set objectives to the team.
- Provide support to the team and give advice and guidance during the projects.
- Track project progression by utilising the systems we have in place.
- Responsible for setting Quality Control standards.
- Problem solve in a resourceful and positive manner.
- Occasionally oversee or attend installations offsite.
- Manipulating and editing 2D and 3D CAD in preparation for fabrication, CNC machining etc. Would be an advantage.
Required skills
The candidate will need to have/be:
- Typically, 8+ years’ experience in the industry with ideally 3 years Project managing
- Organised, personable, pro-active, hardworking, and creative.
- Knowledgeable in workshop processes and methods of making.
- Computer literate with excellent communication skills.
- Experienced in managing team members: this will be essential.
