Aer Studios has been selected by Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity (GOSH Charity) to design and develop its Neverland website, following a competitive pitch.
The appointment of the creative technology studio entails website design and development for the hospital’s Neverland brand. Launching in spring 2025, the new site will focus on bringing Neverland to life through digital creativity, motion and gamification to increase audience engagement.
Peter Pan and Neverland hold a significant place in Great Ormond Street Hospital’s (GOSH) history. Author JM Barrie bequeathed the rights for his famous book to GOSH so that the income could benefit the seriously ill children who visit the hospital for life-saving treatment. Now, GOSH Charity has embarked on a journey to expand its commercial opportunities through the likes of live events, merchandise and partnerships, helping to grow revenue streams and to connect with supporters. The new public-facing website will deepen the connection further, providing more opportunities to engage with the Peter Pan brand.
Aer Studios is a creative technology studio based in the South West of England. Founded in 1998, the agency has continued to grow steadily year on year with a mission to create meaningful digital experiences that have a positive impact on people and planet. Having demonstrated relevant experience with existing non profit clients including Dogs Trust and Diabetes UK, alongside children’s entertainment focused clients such as Cartoon Network and the BBC’s games, apps and digital experiences, GOSH Charity’s Neverland is a natural fit for the Aer Studios portfolio.
The work is beginning in earnest following a collaborative kick-off so that the website will be up and running for both adults and children to enjoy before summer.
