The prospect of standing in front of a crowd or communicating online via a webinar can be an intimidating prospect.
As a journalist, Sean Wilson has had to school himself over the years to overcome this inbuilt anxiety and it has been rewarding to communicate his passion for cinema to those who want to listen.
These opportunities have taken many forms, such as a live Q&A with guests in front of a cinema crowd, or a brief intro to a film to lots of genre fans.
The important thing is that a sense of passion and enthusiasm radiates through. This can go a long way towards engaging a live audience, and the end result has been a strong sense of personal growth.
In this webinar, Sean will discuss his experience, outlining what he’s done to get crowds on side, and why others should be inspired to do the same.
