Zara is the former CEO of Gapsquare which is an award-winning organisation offering employers intuitive pay and people analytics using AI and services for tackling gender, ethnicity, disability and wider pay gap and pay inequity issues. Zara founded Gapsquare in 2016 after hearing the World Economic Forum’s prediction that it would take 217 years before the gender pay gap would close. Zara is now Director of the Fair Future of Work Strategy at XpertHR – LexisNexis Risk Solutions
Zara is not just an expert on building diverse and inclusive workspaces, but she is also a member of the Global Future Council on New Agenda for Equity and Social Justice, a member of the Women’s Leadership Board at Harvard Kennedy School, has been recognised in the top 100 most influential women in UK tech, and in 2022 Dr Nanu was recognised with an MBE. She will be using her experience and passion to bring a powerful message to NextGen, sharing her inspiring story of creating and growing a successful tech business driven by social justice and how she continues to deliver her mission not only regionally but globally.
