The rapid growth of eCommerce over the past year has presented retailers and brands with a welcome opportunity for success online.

But as we move toward a post-pandemic world the risks also increase. Merchants need to remain visible to be profitable and to consolidate the gains of the last 12 months.

Those selling across multiple channels will know the importance of up-to-date product listings, including prices, descriptions, images, and availability.

The accuracy of those listings, however, is only as good as the data feed. These are the building blocks of onsite and offsite digital sales channels, but they’re often neglected, resulting in reduced product visibility and missed sales opportunities.

In this 60-minute webinar, we dive into the basics of feed management and explore the advanced optimisation tactics that will make your data feeds your key engine of eCommerce growth.

Joined by our partners at Intelligent Reach, you’ll learn about…

DATA QUALITY

– The damaging impact of poor data feeds and its influence in Product Level Advertising
– What a high-quality data feed looks like and its impact on product performance
– The importance of speed, scale and accuracy in product data optimisation
– How to combine performance metrics and product data for optimal success

DATA EXPERIMENTATION

– Dos and Don’ts
– Can a word make a huge difference?
– How to understand your buyers and capitalise on trends/seasonality

By now we’re all aware of how the global pandemic has – and continues to – change our behaviour online. Indeed, many of our own eCommerce clients saw double-digit growth in 2020, with similar success echoed industry-wide.

Naturally, as an end to the pandemic in Europe appears to be getting closer, the same clients are in search of an answer to one question above all others – is the shift online here for the long term, or can we expect online revenues to snap back?

During this hour-long webinar, we’ll draw on our own experience of the past 12 months, as well as market-leading insight from Google and Facebook, to offer our thoughts on the answer to that key question. Then, we’ll draw on Paid Media and Organic expertise from within the Adapt eCommerce team to provide you with a blueprint for how to flourish in a new era of eCommerce.

How to Flourish in a New Era of eCommerce (Paid Media) | Sally Hunt & Jennifer Harney, Adapt

We are all in the business of persuasion – whether it is persuading clients to buy our work, consumers to buy the products and services we advertise or make, persuading judges that our campaign is worth an award, or convincing colleagues to choose and make our ideas. But very few of us are ever taught how to be more persuasive. We tend to think that some people are just born good at it, but the reality is that everyone can be more persuasive – you just need to know the tricks.

Every day the creative and communications landscape becomes more complex, with media ranging from feature film to quick Instagram story, and from epic installation to two-centimetre-high Facebook advert. Attention spans are becoming shorter and more fragmented. Communications and marketing budgets are being stretched thinner and decision-makers are prepared to take fewer risks. As a result, it has never been more vital to be powerfully persuasive.

Kit Altin’s job depends on her ability to persuade: every day she is selling strategies, ideas and her agency to clients, creatives and colleagues, and she is a pitch master with an 80% conversion rate. This course gives away a ton of her trade secrets.

In this workshop, Kit will teach you how to apply the same focus, rigour, intelligence and imagination to selling your ideas as you do to creating them. Run over two consecutive mornings, the sessions will be fast, fun and extremely practical, based not only on psychological theory but on industry experience of what really works. You’ll learn the essentials of being powerfully persuasive, helping you to sell your ideas, convince your clients and engage your target audience.

Kit will go through the classic and contemporary understanding of how persuasion works, using sources from Aristotle to modern thinkers such as Daniel Pink. You’ll keep applying what you’ve learned throughout the day and at the end, you’ll get to tackle a new persuasion challenge, which will underpin and consolidate your learning.

By the end of this workshop you will:

About Kit Altin

Kit is currently Chief Strategy Officer at The Gate and she is a leading member of the D&AD training faculty, designing and delivering some of their most popular masterclasses for individuals and companies, and speaking worldwide on effective communication. Kit was named by the Institute of Practitioners in Advertising as a Woman of Tomorrow for her pioneering work with Change.  Alongside her work with The Gate and D&AD, Kit is also a mentor for Bloom, the network on a mission to ensure women have equal opportunity in the communications industry. And she is a judge for the Effie Awards.

Tech permeates nearly every area of our lives, even more so during a pandemic.

While tech products have the power to open up communities and link individuals to modern society, they can also leave people feeling isolated and left behind.

We traditionally think of accessibility as being an issue for developers and designers, but it’s something that needs to run through every aspect of your business.

Romaric will offer an overview of what accessibility means for web development, and how it involves the whole team – from developers to stakeholders, through to project managers, designers, content creators and testers…

He’ll give specific examples of what to look for to help start improving your site or app’s accessibility right away.

With the market more competitive than ever, agencies need a special edge to maintain business levels and achieve growth.

Smart and compelling content can give you that edge by demonstrating that you understand and can solve the challenges faced by your clients in this new era – and genuinely make a difference.

But too many agencies are limiting their potential by not understanding how to create great content. And worse, are pushing out quantity over quality, which damages reputation and jeapordises leads.

In this session, we’ll look at the role of different types of content in engaging prospects, clients and other audiences, the common mistakes made, how to stand apart and how to approach planning when it comes to channels, audiences, formats and delivery.

Join us on Tuesday 18 May 2021 at 11am when the team at Tonic Creative Business Partners will share perspectives on what makes great content and provide some practical know-how on what you need to think (or rethink) when it comes to your thought leadership, client stories and more.

Paul Feldwick worked for over thirty years at the legendary creative agency, Boase Massimi Pollitt, later part of the DDB network. His latest book, Why Does The Pedlar Sing?  examines what ‘creativity’ really means in advertising. Although we’ve often been told by the gurus of advertising that ‘selling is a serious business’ and ‘people do not patronise a clown’, all the evidence of history shows this is wrong, and that brands have always achieved fame and fortune by using the devices of popular culture and entertainment.

So, why are today’s agencies apparently so resistant to creating work that’s famous and popular?  And what should we do about it? Join us for this lunchtime Keynote on Wednesday 28th April to find out.

About Paul Feldwick

In 1974 Paul joined Boase Massimi Pollitt, a rising London advertising agency already famous for several popular campaigns including the Smash Martians and the Cresta Bear. He stayed there for over thirty years, mainly as an account planner. By 1988 he was heading up the planning department and he later became Worldwide Brand Planning Director for DDB (who’d acquired BMP in 1989). Since leaving the agency world in 2005, Paul has worked as a consultant in the fields of strategy, brands, and organisational change, but retains a strong fascination for advertising itself. He has Masters degrees from the University of Bath School of Management (Responsibility & Business Management) and Ashridge Business School (Organisational Consulting).
