Bianca is a dedicated advocate for mental health and anti-racism, driven by her personal experiences of overcoming mental health challenges and witnessing her family members grapple with severe psychological illnesses. Having personally faced the challenges within the UK’s mental health system, Bianca has developed a heartfelt dedication to driving meaningful change.
For over seven years, Bianca has proudly served as a Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) Associate, actively promoting mentally healthy workplaces. In addition, she is a seasoned conflict coach, equipped with the skills to facilitate resolution in challenging situations. Her dedication to learning and development is underscored by her qualification from the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD).
In the wake of the Black Lives Matter movement and the tragic murder of George Floyd in 2020, Bianca seized the opportunity to amplify her anti-racism efforts through the integration of Race Ahead courses within Empower Develop People (EDP). These courses empower organisations to embark on the journey of becoming truly anti-racist, fostering an inclusive, psychologically safe environment where everyone can flourish.
Under Bianca’s leadership, Race Ahead has flourished, boasting a network of skilled instructors and dedicated Race Ahead champions from esteemed organisations across the United Kingdom.
Bianca is resolute in her belief that nobody should get hurt in the workplace because of the colour of their skin.
