Founded in 1995, Encounters is a globally renowned short film festival that takes place on the beautiful harbourside in Bristol, a UNESCO City of Film. Encounters is a qualifying festival for BAFTA, BIFA and the European Film Awards.
This year’s festival takes place on 24-28 September. The full programme is here.
Events include visionary filmmakers Charlie Kaufman and Michael Gondry reunited on stage on Wednesday 24 September at Bristol Beacon followed by a special screening of the iconic Academy Award winning Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.
