An exciting weekend of free Aardman workshops and film screenings in Sparks Bristol, brought to you by educational charity, Global Goals Centre and animation experts, Aardman Animation, as part of Bristol City of Film’s Summer of Film.

Friday 18 August, 1-4pm:

    • Join us in our Amazing Scene Machine workshop outside the front of Sparks to learn how to create scenes celebrating nature, both on land and underwater. This is free to attend and you don’t need to book.

Sat 19 Aug:

    • Model making workshops – SOLD OUT
    • Model making workshop for neurodiverse and autistic people – this session will have fewer participants and a BSL interpreter – SOLD OUT
    • Non-stop Aardman films including Shaun the Sheep, Wallace and Gromit, Epic Adventure of Morph and much more. Films will be running all day, 11am-4pm, in the Department of Discovery – free to attend and no need to book!

Sun 20 Aug:

    • Model making workshops – SOLD OUT

These workshops form part of Bristol’s Summer Film Takeover, being delivered as one of the activities under the City Centre and High Streets Recovery and Renewal programme, funded by Bristol City Council and the West of England Combined Authority’s Love our High Streets project.
