Job Description
We are looking for the Swiss Army Knife of video production to join our busy team. We need an amazing camera operator (camera geeks very welcome!) who loves being out shooting, but is equally happy (and skillful) getting stuck into an edit.
While your main focus will be camera work … when you’re not out filming, editing will be an important part of the role too.
You should be as comfortable walking into a location knowing you have an hour to capture a beautiful sequence of B-roll as you are walking into a room & knowing how to light it to bring out the best in an interview subject. You should love developing the visual creative for concepts, be happy acting as a solo self-shooting director or running a small crew on location, have basic sound recording skills and be a proficient DaVinci Resolve editor, particularly when it comes to social-first content. In a nutshell, you need to shoot like a dream and know how to turn that footage into a great edit.
At S&B Originals Ltd. we offer a full in-house moving image production service for a wide range of sectors including corporate videos, branded content, internal communications, advertising and marketing. And our team offers a friendly and supportive environment to work in.
Established for over 20 years we are based in the heart of Bath with a client profile of companies and organisations who are looking for a high quality, creative and bespoke production, our main focus is on great storytelling that is beautifully shot.
