Job Description
We’re LRB, a small and growing B2B video and podcast agency in Bristol, making brand films, podcast series, and docu-style corporate content for clients who actually care about storytelling. We’ve got more brilliant work landing than our post-production team can turn around on its own, so we’re bringing on a full-time editor to join us permanently.
We need someone who loves the rhythm of a good podcast edit, is quick and slick with sync and clip generation, and wants to be part of something that’s still small enough to feel like theirs.
What you’d actually be doing
You’ll be working alongside our editing team, turning raw footage into finished episodes and clips, fast.
Some days that’s a full podcast episode: syncing multi-camera and audio, then cutting it with proper pace. Other days it’s taking that same episode and slicing it into a stack of short, scroll-stopping clips for LinkedIn and social. We’re not precious about process. We’re precious about good work going out the door on time.
The work breaks down like this:
- Editing podcast episodes end to end, from sync through to final cut
- Generating short-form clips and cutdowns from longer recordings
- Turning around edits quickly, without needing much hand-holding once you know the brief
- Based in our Spike Island office, working closely with Rob and Dom day to day
- Getting your head down, getting in the zone, and just getting the work done
It’s a mix of fast, focused editing and proper craft. All of it matters.
Required skills
- Strong, demonstrable proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro (After Effects and Audition a bonus)
- Confident syncing audio and video across multiple cameras and sources
- Experience creating short-form clips and social cutdowns from long-form content
- Competent spell-checking abilities (for subtitles)
- Fast turnaround without sacrificing quality. We move quickly and need an editor who moves with us
- Based in or around Bristol to easily get to our office
- Comfortable working independently and getting into a focused editing groove for a full day at a time
- Reliable communication and the ability to hit deadlines without needing to be chased
Bonus points if you’ve edited podcasts or corporate video before, or if you’ve got a good eye for what makes a B2B clip stop the scroll.
Benefits
- A salary of £28,500 – £32,500 per year, depending on experience, full-time and permanent
- A genuine seat at the table with a small, ambitious team, not just another headcount number
- New, suited and booted MacBook for you to carry out workload
- Flexible hybrid working scheme (WFH & Office)
- 28 days holiday including bank holidays (standard UK, nothing fancy but nothing stingy either)
- Christmas office closure (without it coming out of your holiday)
- Real client work for huge B2B and corporate brands
- A proper studio and office at Spike Island, one of Bristol’s best creative spots
- Kit provided, so you’re set up to do your best work from day one
- Room to grow as we do. Early hires in a growing agency tend to end up owning a lot more than their job title suggests
