Job Description
We’re looking for a talented Web Developer to join our growing Digital Experience team.
This is an exciting opportunity to become the second full time developer in our UK team, working alongside our Senior Web Developer to build high performance, secure and accessible websites for clients across a wide range of sectors.
You’ll work across the full project lifecycle, from new website builds and bespoke functionality through to optimisation, maintenance and continuous improvement. As part of a small, collaborative team, you’ll have genuine ownership of your work, opportunities to influence how we build websites, and ongoing mentoring to help you grow your career.
Our work is primarily WordPress focused, but we’re increasingly delivering projects using HubSpot and modern cloud technologies.
We also embrace AI as part of our development workflow, encouraging the responsible use of tools such as ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, Claude and Cursor to improve productivity and code quality.

Required skills
Essential
- Commercial WordPress development experience
- Strong PHP, JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS3 skills
- Experience with custom Gutenberg blocks and themes
- Experience using Git in a collaborative environment
- Good understanding of responsive web development
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork
- A willingness to learn and embrace new technologies, including AI-assisted development
Desirable
- Tailwind CSS or another modern CSS framework
- ACF, Composer and WP-CLI
- GitHub & GitHub Actions
- REST API integrations
- Azure or AWS exposure
- Technical SEO, Core Web Vitals and Schema.org
- HubSpot, HubL or HubDB experience
- Experience working within a digital agency
