This hands-on workshop is designed to help you rethink your feedback.

For many organisations, collecting feedback and understanding impact evidencing often lives at the bottom of the priority list, because time, staff and resources are limited. Traditional post‑event surveys capture only 5–14% of responses, long after insights have faded, and questions are usually shaped by funders or KPIs rather than genuine impact needs. Sound familiar?

This hands‑on workshop is designed to help you rethink how you collect feedback in order to evidence impact. Led by Dr Laura Gates*, a leading academic in creative facilitation and impact design, and founder of Obwob**, Bath Spa University’s first creative-tech venture, you’ll explore practical, research‑backed ways to ask better questions, gather richer insight, and collect feedback that provides real evidence of change at the right moment, without adding pressure to your team.

You’ll use Obwob, a real‑time feedback platform, live in the session to experience how immediate insight, gathered through thoughtful facilitation, changes the quality of impact and reflection. In pilot tests, Obwob achieved up to 100% participation, giving organisations far deeper understanding than traditional surveys.

What you’ll take away:

  • How to design questions that reveal what’s really happening
  • When to ask for feedback for the most honest, useful insight
  • A practical experience of real-time feedback methods embedded in strong facilitation design
  • Space to reflect on your own organisational challenges and needs

Obwob is being developed for commercial release, and your ticket price includes access to a trial of the app. You will be contacted once the app becomes available with details of your accounts.
If you choose to continue using Obwob after the pilot, you’ll roll over onto a discounted ImpaKt subscription rate (available only to ImpaKt members who completed the trial).

Join our practical session designed to make feedback and impact evidencing easier, faster and far more meaningful. We’d love to see you there.
