SEO Manager Location: Bristol City Centre (Office & Remote Working)
Vivid is looking for an ambitious and experienced SEO Manager to join our growing team in Bristol. This is a strategic and hands-on role ideal for someone ready to take the next step in their SEO career — moving from execution-focused work into a more senior position with real ownership, client leadership, and the opportunity to help shape and scale the agency’s SEO department.
You will manage SEO strategy across multiple client accounts, drive performance, build strong client relationships, and play a key role in developing scalable SEO processes as the agency continues to grow.
This role would suit someone currently working as an SEO Account Manager, Senior SEO Executive, SEO Strategist, or SEO Specialist who is ready for greater responsibility and leadership opportunities.
Main Responsibilities
- Develop and manage comprehensive SEO strategies across a range of client accounts
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, leading performance discussions and strategy meetings
- Create and execute SEO growth plans focused on improving rankings, organic traffic, and conversions
- Conduct technical SEO audits and coordinate implementation with internal and client teams
- Lead keyword research, content strategy, and on-page optimisation
- Support and contribute to link-building and authority growth campaigns
- Produce clear, insightful performance reports and present findings to clients
- Collaborate closely with paid media, content, and web development teams
- Help shape internal SEO processes, best practices, and support the future growth of the SEO team
Required skills
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in SEO account management or client-facing SEO roles
- Strong technical knowledge of technical SEO, on-page optimisation, and content SEO
- Experience using a range of SEO tools
- Confidence in managing client communication, presenting strategies, and leading meetings
- Commercial awareness and understanding of how SEO contributes to business growth objectives
- Highly organised, proactive, and able to take ownership of projects and client accounts
- Agency experience is preferred
- Ambitious mindset with a strong desire to grow your career and take on increasing responsibility
