Job Description
We’re looking for a user-centred designer to help shape meaningful digital experiences for our clients. You’ll play a key role in understanding user needs, turning insights into intuitive interfaces, and working with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful products and services.
Each project is different, so we’re looking for someone with a broad range of skills including user research, user journey mapping, wire-framing, prototyping and the ability to produce elegant, brand aligned user interfaces for websites, apps, and other digital products.

Responsibilities
- Working closely with clients, users and teammates to ascertain KPIs, key personas, user journeys and optimum methods of engagement for the products we deliver
- Working closely with clients to understand their business drivers, and from this, to plan and deliver user research to evidence our strategies going forwards
- Define, design and deliver experiences to meet those user needs, including but not limited to: moodboards, scamps, wireframes, prototypes, branded visuals etc
- Designing solutions to improve usability, accessibility, readability, engagement and discoverability of content
- Iterate, refine and analyse the effectiveness of our solutions, constantly striving to optimise the experience we deliver to our users
- Working with and creating branding and branded experiences to create design languages, design patterns and mechanisms for deeper brand engagement across digital and physical platforms
- Understand and manage the balance between business needs, user needs and stakeholder needs in the solutions you create
- Being able to work in a pro-active, prioritised manner to deliver the highest quality work in an Agile, timely fashion
- Understanding the importance of teamwork and the continual pursuit of perfect both in your own work, and with the wider team
- Being proactive in working with others within the team to upskill yourselves and others.
- Contributing to winning new business with existing and new clients e.g. proposals and pitches
Required skills
Essential
- Professional experience of the application of user-centred design principles and best practice
- Professional experience in designing UX solutions (user journeys, wireframes, prototypes, card sorting exercises etc)
- A strong understanding and experience in the methodologies and mechanisms of User Research (qualitative and quantitative analysis, focus groups, market research, horizon scans, business verticals etc)
- Experience working in a fast moving, proactive Agile environment and working proactively to continually improve ways of working
Desirable but not essential
- Experience with conversion rate optimisation, multivariate testing, A/B testing to improve and iterate the solutions we provide
- Experience working with data and trends to improve user experiences and work with clients to highlight and deliver innovation based on user behaviour
- Experience working with tone of voice, social content, branded materials, print and other mediums
